Our Screen/Tablet Time Policy

Because we care about the health and well-being of the children in our care, we use the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Recommendations on Screen Time as our guide. Cedar Gables understands that TV and other electronic media can get in the way of exploring, playing, and interacting with others, which encourages learning and healthy physical and social development. Therefore, we will restrict screen time by age group as outlined below.

Note: We may occasionally allow older children to watch an age appropriate show or movie during rest time when the weather does not allow for outdoor play or during times when the children in this program transition to full-time care.
