As a new mother I was very weary of placing my son in a childcare environment, but when I heard about CedarGables through a friend and neighbor I decided to schedule a tour. I was instantly impressed; Karen and the entire staff made me feel extremely comfortable. The environment is exactly what I was looking for in a daycare (and preschool) and the moment I stepped in the door I knew that this was the place for my son. My son started attending CedarGables when he was 5 months old, he is now 41/2 and my 21/2 year old daughter is enrolled as well.
The overall set-up of the school is very nice; the children have access to various types of play dependent on the age of the child. Each child is given time for independent play, but a circle time is also included. My kids come home every day excited about what they learned or did at school. Some of their favorites include learning new songs, dancing, arts and crafts, table time, reading books, show and tell and participating in activities like, â??Party Bears.â? My kids are happy, excited and involved in what is going on at CedarGables and it shows.
As a parent you could not ask for better people to care for your child. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and very good with children of all ages.
Karen has become a friend to our family over the years and words could not express the invaluable support and advice she has provided us with; from the absolute basics of caring for a newborn to the more complicated tantrums of a four year old.
CedarGables has become our home away from home and I strongly recommend them; you will not find care like this anywhere else.
